Gazprom’s gas output rises by 17% to 241 bcm in Jan 1–Tuesday

MOSCOW, Jun 16 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom increased its natural gas output by 17.2% on the year to 241.4 billion cubic meters from January 1 through Tuesday, the company said in a statement published on Wednesday on its Telegram channel citing preliminary results.

Local gas supplies increased by 16%, or by 18.4 billion cubic meters, in the period.

Gas exports to the non-CIS states grew by 26.7% to 92.3 billion cubic meters in the period, with exports to Turkey growing by 191.3%, to Germany by 41.8%, to Italy by 16.4%, to France by 16.6%, to Romania by 240.8%, to Poland by 19.7%, to Bulgaria by 47.2%, to Serbia by 134.6%, and to Greece by 25.7%.
